Trusted circle
Add the people who should hear from MarkMe. They don't need the app. They can get a text or an email.
Timed check-ins
Set how long you'll be. If the time runs out and you haven't marked safe, your circle is alerted.
I'm safe
One tap ends a check-in. Running late? Add time instead.
SOS
Skip the wait. Your circle is alerted right away with your last known location.

On mobile, you can choose to log when you reach a destination.
iPhone and Android
Built-in check-in on iPhone works only between iPhones. MarkMe works across iPhone and Android, and with contacts who have neither.
For organizations

How escalation works
Reminder first. Then your circle.
The timer runs on MarkMe's servers, not on your phone. If your battery dies or you lose signal, alerts still go out on time.

Choose how long you'll be. Add a note if it helps, like where you're going.
- Overdue
Time runs out: you get a reminder
A push notification and an email ask you to mark safe or add time. A short grace period starts, 5 minutes by default.
- Escalated
No response: your circle is alerted
Each contact hears by push, email, or text, with your last known location if you shared it during the check-in.
- Safe
You mark safe
The check-in ends. If anyone was alerted, they're told you're safe.
What MarkMe is not
Clear about what it does and doesn't do.
Not an emergency service
MarkMe does not call 911 or dispatch anyone. It tells the people you chose. If you are in immediate danger, call 911.
Not a location tracker
Location is shared only during an active check-in or SOS, and only with your circle. There is no background tracking outside a check-in.
Not for monitoring children
MarkMe accounts are for adults 18 and over.
